ABOUT US
It all started when Joseph (Joe) B. Butcher had a dream. In 1966, while working out of his spare bedroom, he began to live that dream. Joe, through hard work and diligence, created a reputation as one of North Alabama's most well respected drafting companies. Honesty, integrity, and fair pricing were the backbone of Joe's business philosophy. Over the course of the years, he compiled quite a portfolio of stock plans. They are available in hard copy to be previewed at your leisure. Soon, these will all be available on the web.
After taking ill in 1998, Joe sold his business to Tom Austin. Over the next several years, Tom introduced Computer Aided Drafting into the business. He began the arduous process of converting all of the drawings to this computerized, high tech automated system, while still maintaining the core values of Butcher Drafting Service, LLC.
Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to Butcher Drafting Service, LLC. He has vast experience in everything from civil design to production drawings, multiple phases of architectural design, and an extensive list of other talents that he contributes to the company.
While continuing Joseph's business ethics, Tom's client list has grown and includes general contractors as well as commercial and residential architects. Tom also caters to that individual with an idea who wants to see it in print and built on his property.
To keep up with the latest trends and designs, Tom is an advisor to our local technical school. He has, on occasion, had the opportunity to train others and teach them the skills and values that are so highly regarded here at Butcher Drafting Service, LLC .
Since 1966, Butcher Drafting Service, LLC has specialized in a variety of custom and stock plans for builders, developers, and consumers alike. We have worked hard to build a reputation as not only a leading entity of Northern Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee architectural businesses, but as a company whose number one goal is customer satisfaction. Each member of our staff holds a strong technical background and a passion for the work that they do.
We have a range of services produced by a team of knowledgeable and experienced drafting and support professionals. Our clients have been the recipients of over fifty years of drafting and design help. The foundation of our success is due in part to customer relationships; project confidentiality honored. Our mission is to offer quality services on any size project at a rapid turnaround time. We value the quality of our work; you'll find that we do not rush through the design process of your house or building.
We are confident that whatever your architectural needs, Butcher Drafting Service, LLC is the right choice for you! We will take your vision and turn it into a stunning reality that you can enjoy for years to come.
